WAIA is a non-profit organisation, founded in 1995 to represent the Internet community in Western Australia. Since then, WAIA has helped the industry continue to grow, as well as fostering many vital debates and assisting in policy discussions at different levels. WAIA also operates the Western Australian Internet Exchange (WAIX), a multi-lateral carrier independent peering fabric, as well as 'IX Australia' with state-based peering fabrics in Queensland (QLD-IX) and Victoria (VIC-IX).
The Trusted Computing Group (TCG) is a not-for-profit organization formed to develop, define and promote open, vendor-neutral, global industry specifications and standards, supportive of a hardware-based root of trust.
